The night owl within!

Who knew that I, Gretchen Elaine Hinkson "sleepy" Lewis would become a night owl.  I have found myself keeping busy until 11:30 or 12 most nights the past week and a half.  What has happened?  Well, I think it mostly has to do with us moving into a new house and having a never ending amount of things to sort, hang, organize and find a spot for.  Crazy!!!  It is 11:31 p.m. and I am not even ready to lie down.  I hope once the house is all settled, I will get to bed at a decent hour, like 9:30 or 10.  Although I have been injoying the alone time.  :)

Oh, did I tell you, that I am now Primary President in my ward.  Wowee!  That is a big job.  Wish me as much luck as possible.  Thanks!!

P.S.- I wonder who else of you have a night owl within, that is waiting to unleash itself?

Trip to UTAH for a HINKSON FAMILY REUNION!

We were in Utah for the week of the 4th of July.  We had so much fun!  Sorry to all those Utah loved ones of which we didn't get to see.
Here is a quick snipet of some of the things we did on our trip!!

This grandkid photo was taken with my sister in-law's (Cynthia) fancy camera!

Canoing down Provo River!  Passengers: My mom and Dad, Mark, Samatha (niece), Kent- my brother, and myself.  Thanks to Cynthia who watched Hank and Ellie so we could go.  We had so much fun!!!!!

Cheese!

Row- row- row- your boat!!!

I jumped in a little ways, before our stop.  Mom (Granny) decided it was time to join me in the frigid water, once she was face to face with a big tree, that wouldn't budge.  Or we could say, she jumped in too!!  :)

Hike to Battle Creek Falls

Mark and Ellie!  They were one of the firsts to the falls.

Granny made it with us!!

Luke, my youngest brother, broke his arm, riding on a mountain bike I believe, anyways, he wasn't able to particiapte in many of the things, we did, so it was nice he could hike with us!!

So the plan for the reunion was a Campout in the American Fork Canyon, there were lots of fires, so we didn't get to camp.  We went canoeing and hiking instead.  We had such a good time.  The reason I am holding this scary cat is, I had plans of scary people with it on the campout.  So I decided to scare everyone on the way down from the falls/ hike.  I know, I am a crazy!!

I have more to post, come back and see!!  All these pictures were taken with my my nieces camera!  Thanks Savannah for loaning your camera for all the fun to be saved.
