What fancy fun!!

So I hosted a Stella & Dot (jewelry) party! I had lots of fun!

I am wearing a piece called- The Amanda!

Here is my friend Leanne, she is a Stella & Dot Stylist. (Sorry about the lighting.)

Those that came had a great time!

Most who attended were shy in getting their photo taken. This is Emily she came with her mom, they both just love Jewelry and they just loved the party!

Doesn't she look extra cute in those earrings!

This is what I wore to Church today. The ear rings, necklace and bracelet I bought for myself in April when I went to a Stella & Dot party. It was seriously the funnest party I have ever been to! I bought these three peices with some saved birthday money!
Then for Mothers day, Mark gave me the Amanda and 2 pairs of ear rings!

Wow, I sure feel spoiled rotten!
I just love this new adventure in my life, which is accessorizing with fun and fancy jewelry!
I dare all you woman out there to add some Stella and Dot to your life! You will feel fabulous! It really makes me feel extra special and super fancy! It is a good feeling!

San Leandro Stake 50th Reunion!

On Sat. 6-11-11 we had a Stake reunion Picnic at a great park called, Meek's Estate!

We had Subway, it was yummy! A group photo was taken! There were suppose to be about 700 people come, and a whole lot less came, most likely because it was such a cold day, so we all were able to have as much to as we wanted.

Hank loved playing!

What a great park!

All tuckered out! I love the feet on the pillow, place so perfectly symmetrical!

Friday 6-10-11, Our Stake Carnival celebration! This was the best Carnival I have ever been to, and I have been to and run lots of Carnivals, so my opinion is worth it's weight in gold, or something like that. :) I help with the face painting for about a 1/2 hour! Loved it!

This has got to be one of the best photos ever taken in all of History!

Donut on a string eating contest!

It was gone in one gulp, and I won!

Mini golf! Hank had such a good time!

Elder Allphin

So, we signed up to feed the missionaries for dinner three weeks ago. And when the doorbell rang, it was Elder Williams who has been serving in our ward since Ellie was born, so almost four months now. Anyways, our cousin Kyal Allphin was at the door with Elder Williams, dressed as a missionary, because he is a missionary!! Amazing! So we got to feed our cousin his first meal in his first area on his mission! I say, that is pretty cool!

Today in Church Elder Allphin was asked to speak about his dad, who Mark and I know as Uncle Steve! He shared so many wonderful things about his father. *Launa and Steve, you need to ask Elder Allphin about his Fathers day Speach!!!

Those of you who look at this blog to see how Ellie is doing, sorry!!! I will post about Ellie tomorrow or Tuesday! :)

30 minutes of missed memories!

OK- I love living in California! But, I just realized that I have missed so many memories with my family in Utah. My dad was here along with my brother James for Ellies blessing, and before he left he downloaded all of the pictures from his phone, all one thousand plus. It took twenty minutes for the download to complete. The reason I am typing all of this, is because I just spent 30 minutes looking through some of the pictures and I am not even close to done. I have missed out on so many things/ events with my family, it is so so so so terribly heart breaking. I wish that all the Hinkson/ Gifford clan would move to CA!

Here are just a few of the memories I have missed out on. :(

My bro. Ian, being super funny!

My niece Sariah, showing us her hair!

My cousin Justin got hitched!!

I have no right to whine.

So lately I have been complaining to a friend about how in just a few more months I will be without a dishwasher. But seriously, look at my adorable babies! I have no right to whine. I have healthy perfectly cute kids! I am so thankful for them. Not to mention my fabulous husband. I am the luckiest girl in the world!!!

"Lewis's"

"Hinksons"

Hank Allen Lewis at 2.3 years of age

So, one person I stirve to be more like, (there are several people I strive to mirror in deeds and actions,) is my cousin Michelle Hinkson. She up-dates about her kids and what they are like now-a-days. So I want to do that too! Here goes-

Hank Allen Lewis-

is 2 years and 3 months (on June 5th), he talks up a storm!!! Lately he has been saying things like "hold you" meaning he wants you to hold him, "more bishies, pease" meaning I want more gold fish please! He also says, "no yet" in reply to "Hank, lets go brush your teeth" or "Lets change your diaper", or "lets go inside". "No yet" of course means- Not Yet.

He is a handsome young lad, he is in the 75% for his wieght, and 80's for his height, and his head has come down a little and is in the lower 90% for his head. When he was a little baby his head was always off the charts big! He wears a size 8 shoe and 3T clothes and is just growing and growing!!! He is really thining out.

He loves to play with his dinosaur toys, his monkey backpack fully equiped with leash for adult ease, he loves tools and going in the garage, and he'll run to get there, when he sees that it is open! He can open the driveway gate and the back screen door all by himself!! He is getting really good at climbing, insanely good. I don't worry about him going up and down the stairs anymore, at least not like I did!!

Doing our thing!

Hank says- "Hold you" to Ellie when he wants to hold her!

Raspberries are here!

Daddy made Hankie a Tank!

Happy boy!

She is just the best!

We went on a trip to Clearlake!

HEre is the veiw from the house of the Lake! There is the pier, that Mark helped with, it needs lots of work still. But they worked on it for about 6 or so hours!!

Hank loved to throw the Oakballs (not sure for the technical name, but the round things connected to the branch) into the Lake.

And the sticks and the rocks too!

The Longs have tons of fun toys! Hank had a great time!!

Hank, Mark and I out on the water! We stayed in the boat, it was pretty windy and cold!

I got the ducks in flight!

Having fun!

Hank and Craig! Hanks calls him "Teeg" or "Taig" sometimes!

This is Marilyn aka Meema!

Hank and I went exploring! We found flowers for Meema, some shells, a twisty petrified branch and some bamboo! Cool dude! Or as Hankie says "tool dude!"

It rained while we were there! We got to see a rainbow too!

The car ride up!

Hank was was so good while he played with his brand new Iron Man guy from his Daddy!

This was Hanks way of falling asleep!

It worked!!
