What to do on the day Ellie is due! And the debut of Hanks playhouse!

Sat. 2-19-11
Hank and Mark went looking at Toys R' Us, yesterday while it rained! They were gone for 2 1/2 hours, wow! While they were gone, I got ready, even blew my hair dry! Wowee! Then I ate some lunch, then cleaned up the kitchen and then started coloring some dinosaurs for Hank-o-saurus! I cut them out and put contact paper on them! They look pretty good! Now they are taped to the wall in his toy area. He can pull them off and put them back as he likes! Paper dinaosaurs sturdy enough for Hank to play with! I put there names on them, so Hank can see the letters that make each dinos name!

Here I am on Ellie's Due date! I have to say, I am feeling great, and I that is awesome!

While it rained this past week, I would sneek in the playhouse while Hank was napping and work on the inside painting. Here is Hank's (practically) done playhouse!

Here is the window, it faces the back of Grandma and Grandpas house.

Where we live right now! Porthole escape hatch! My idea!!!

Mark had a great idea which was to buy some fun wood items, paint them, cut dowles to insert into the backs of each of the wood items. Then drill holes on the inside walls of the playhouse, so Hank would have movable wall decorations that he could also play with. We still need to drill the holes in the walls. The following three pictures are the playhouse wall decorations/ wooden toys!!

Mark painted the plain and train!

I painted the rest of them! I was least excited about the frog and dog, and they ended up being my favorite ones. Cute little doggie and froggie!!

Dinosaur, dragonfly and turtle! Turtles, dragonflies and frogs are from one of our favorite books, "Looking for a Moose"! It is a great book! Micheals only sells one kind of dinosaur, otherwise we would have picked a Tyranosaurus or a Velociraptor, those seem to be Hanks favorite!

Here is the inside, which is the practically done part. I need to finish the table, it needs to be painted and a leg needs to be made. The paint cans are doing the trick when Hank is no where around! I also need to finish the world painted on the floor. Which was painted solely by memory, so it is not accurate, but it is close enough!

Won't the wall decor/ wooden toys look great on the yellow walls!

Park play time!

We went to a near by school park last Saturday, the 5th in the late morning.
Hank really enjoyed palying on all the equipment! Family time is the best!
Going down the slide, yahoo!
Climbing up the slides is way fun!!
In the tunnel!
Hank sure had a good time!

Swinging with Mommy!
Pulling the wagon!
Walking home- we had a great time!

Fun on Friday, February Fourth!

My neighbors Grand-daughter, Emily invited me to her schools bring a friend to school day. We had a nice time. We had donuts and juice, played history Bingo and participated in a prayer service. It was very nice. This picture was taken on her schools campus, Friday 2-4-11!
Later that day Hank and I went to my friend Janet's house for dinner and games. We also exchanged some gifts. Hank got this really cool bear pillow pet!

He loves it lots!

A Super Fun Day at the Exploritorium!

Wednesday, 2-2-11 we went to the Exploritorium, in San Francisco!
(Golden Gate Bridge in the background.)
We parked, then walked past a grassy area where there was this stretching/ exercise area.
We had to play for a minute!
Wow look at that water twirl!

Hank just loved this pendalum.

This was a house, with different colors in each window.
Hank really liked this too!

Wowee!

I thought this was super cool, so did the boys. It was a piece of string that would sort of fly in a circle. It was connected to a motor and you could move the pattern by moving the red knob. Hank had fun grabbing the string, we all did, actually. It was very amazing.

Here Hank is looking at sand, that had like geysers or something under it, it would shoot up sand powder. This was also very amazing. Hank was leaning on a glass case.

This was a water station, where Hank played for awhile, he got his hair wet at a near by station.

This is where Hank got his hair wet, by pressing his head closely to the white ramp.
Fun stuff!

These balls were floating in the air! Hank tried to catch them!

I see you, Maa-y! (That is how he is saying Mommy)

Hank played here for a long while. The chain would go around on the bike wheel above.

The more you pulled on one side of the chain, the faster it would go round!

Here Hank and I are in a room, that makes you look smaller! Like Alice when she drinks the shrinking potion!
Walking outside at the Palace of Fine Arts

Here is part of the Palace. It is quite lovely!
Back near the parking lot. We had fun!

As long as baby #2 comes out a girl....

...which she should, we will name her Ellie Jean Lewis!
We like it! We actually love it! This time around we just chose a name that we could agree on, it took us a long while. There are no family ties to her name. Hank has his dads middle name, which is also Marks Grandpas middle name. But Ellie Jean is just Ellie Jean because we like the way it sounds!!

Wish us luck, after tonight, we have 16 days to go! :) For sure we will have her in 23 days from tomorrow!!! We have a C-section scheduled incase she doesn't come out on her own. We are hoping that she decides to come out. My Doctors won't let us wait more than a week past the due date, so we will have her on the 26th for sure.
