For FHE tonight, Mark gave a 3 or so minute lesson about Jesus and a few of the pictures in the Gospel Art kit. We ended when it seemed Hank lost interest. Then we had a wind up Robot Race! Hank posing quite well, if I do say so myself!
Mom's Robot won the first Race, the below picture shows Daddy's Robot winning the 2nd race! Oh No Hanks Robot fell down! I just love his face!
At the end of the Robot races we got out the wind-up chattering Alligator head, and had some fun with it! To end the fun, we did Super Man a few times!! Hank and his Mamma!! Lucky lady, oh that is me!
This was Friday before our Ward Pizza dinner, carnival and Trunk or treat activity! I look like a witch right? And Hank was the perfect Pirate!
He got pretty good at saying "Arrrgh". He actually sounded more like an angry dinosaur than a Pirate! Still cute though!!
Mark and Hank playing at the Ward party! Sunday after Church Mark getting ready to carve a pumpkin! My Halloween tree looks pretty spooky, as does the corner hutch!
We didn't win the trunk prize this year, but rightfully so, there were some fabulously decorated trunks! Although- I do think my trunk was terribly spooky! Thanks to Grandma Sharon for the availability of her Honda!!
Since Hank is ready to be able to get out of bed by himself, we put away his playpen which has been his bed since he was 5 months old. He now sleeps on one of Grandma and Grandpas guest room beds with out the framing or box spring!! He sure likes it.
It took him a few restless fussy minutes to fall asleep, but here he is napping after lunch today! I put the camera in nightshot mode, the photo turned out impossible to see, so I turned the flash on and got this one. His room is very dark, we have blackout curtains up!
Thanks to all those who called, sent cards, sent gifts, and shared in my 29th birthday!
Mark made me breakfast! It was delicious! Later that day he gave me a gift, a device so I can listen to my music in the car. My CD player has been broken for years. Then for dinner he took me to eat Mexican food, my favorite!!! Hank loved dinner too!!!
My great Friend Janet and her family planned a birthday picnic for me.
Here Janet and I are posing! "Cheese!!!!"
I met them when Jay was 8 and Julianna was 6, that was 10 years ago!
Jules made most of the picnic lunch! She is such a sweetheart!!
Hello! Glad you stopped bye to check on us! The Lewis family is a busy bunch- we work hard, do our best to be healthy, but also love to play and watch movies!
We always have a project or 5 going on! Currently we are working on painting the outside of our house- it is slow going, but persistence pays off!
